EFI’s Splash® servers offer graphic artists and production environments a high-level of color management, quality and control across Xerox Digital Color Presses. They also deliver faster turnaround times through advanced job management and submission tools, enhancing customer satisfaction.

- Reduces turnaround times to handle more work. Splash comes with high-performance RIPping that keeps pace with Xerox Digital Color Press’s quick turnaround times, while increasing productivity to handle high volumes of work. Its production features also eliminate bottlenecks and minimize downtime.
- Total color quality control. Splash allows graphic artists total control over color quality. With ColorTuner, it performs late stage color editing of documents without opening them in their native applications. It also allows the user to view real-time changes with its WYSIWYG proofing capabilties or make a quick global color adjustment without having to re-RIP the job with Color Tweak.
The Splash’s ability to print composite overprints of CMYK and spot colors is a key feature that enabled it to pass the Altona Test Suite, and the Ghent Output Suite demonstrating the solution’s full compliance with PDF/X-3 workflow and proving that it is the best proofing system for press simulation.
- Flexible job submission capabilities. Splash comes with sophisticated tools that integrate into any graphic arts environment. The tools automate the job submission process, reducing printing errors and making workflow more efficient.
- Easy Splash maintenance and network integration. The server comes with more administrator tools to install, setup and maintain Splash on the network, eliminating IT headaches and increasing companies’ return on investment.

With Splash’s new Reporting and Control tools such as Preflight Reporter, Postflight Reporter, Print Info and Control Strip, users can control and improve image quality on every printed page by minimizing errors before printing jobs, increasing customer satisfaction, while reducing the users’ frustration.
- Harness Fiery’s capabilities. Splash offers scalability to the EFI Fiery controller driving the Xerox Digital Color Press. This capability allows Splash and Fiery to be visible on the network.
