Overview
EFI's VUTEk® produces affordable premium quality solvent inks, ultraviolet and dye sublimation inks, clear coats and maintenance fluids for original VUTEk equipment. Its market-leading inks offer the purest, cleanest and most compatible colors for superwide and specialty printer applications worldwide. We produce the highest quality inks to ensure color crispness and print-to-print consistency every time. Our inks also contain the same brilliantly colored, durable pigments, so you can duplicate the same custom colors across many of our printers.
Ink Highlights
- Full solvent inks for roll-to-roll
superwide printers are used for indoor graphics and outdoor
environments. They work on virtually any flexible substrate
such as vinyl and textiles to produce marketing pieces such
as banners, billboards and bus wraps. The inks deliver consistent,
accurate color that withstands extreme weather conditions.
- Bio-solvent
inks, including
the newest EFI's VUTEk BioVu™ inks, are used in production
environments. EFI’s next-generation environmentally-friendly
solvent inks are made with a renewable resource – corn.
EFI's VUTEk BioVu inks are the only solvent ink recognized by the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The ink provides
all the benefits of traditional solvent inks. It bonds
to uncoated substrates, resists mechanical wear and UV
light, and produces durable high quality prints. EFI's VUTEk BioVu inks currently operate
with the VUTEk 3360 product line from EFI™.
- EFI's VUTEk UV Curable Inks provide the highest quality of
color on a variety of
flexible and rigid media
substrates
such as wood, acrylics, PVC, coroplast and aluminum for
flatbed printers. These inks reduce printer downtime by virtually eliminate print head clogging, while still achieving the high image quality and color that customers expect.
- Our dye-sublimation solvent and oil-based inks
deliver the same quality that you’ve come to expect
from EFI's VUTEk Ultratex™ dye-sublimation solvent
inks allow you to expand your services through print textile
applications using EFI’s VUTEk 3360. VUTEk FabriVu® oil-based inks from EFI are dedicated to creating
vibrant colors and graphics on fabric using the Fabrivu
superwide printer. Both inks are extremely versatile solutions
that are wash-resistant and dryer-resilient for reusable
indoor/outdoor graphics and can be infused into fabrics
to produce vibrant colors with excellent draping qualities.
- As part of the total solutions approach, EFI's VUTEk
support team also tailors the ink to ensure precise color
quality every time using fully optimized printer settings
and color profiles.
- Used over full and mild solvent inks, EFI's VUTEk
Liquid Laminates extend the durability of our inks
by up to five years.
- EFI's VUTEk Maintenance Fluids allow you to flush out your ink delivery system and help maintain your printer during periods of non use or shipping, ensuring no impurities are present in the printer or printed material. These fluids help to extend the life of your print heads and ink delivery systems and improve the printer run time.
